This role will be a Fixed Term Contract for 12 months. Its full time (40 hours) and working 2 weekends out of 3 and some bank holidays on a rota basis
The Applicant must have Animal Management Level 2 diploma or equivalent animal related qualification, or at least one years working experience in the small animal sector, outside of college. Plus at least one years demonstrable experience of leading a team.

The purpose of the job is to lead the small animal team providing care and welfare for small animals at The Stubbington Ark Animal Centre, Fareham including rabbits, guinea pigs, rodents, stock animals and wildlife.

The purpose of the job is to oversee the care/ welfare for all animals within a designated
department.
To establish good relations with staff and members of the public.
To adhere to all current policies/procedures and work closely with fellow Lead ACA's to share best practice across all departments.
To support the aims of the RSPCA regarding rescue, rehabilitating and rehoming of animals.
To promote the welfare of the animals at all times.
To lead a team by fostering strong communication skills, a good work ethic and lead by example.
