Arable Ventures are based by Forfar and manage approximately 1250 hectares of arable cropping across Angus, Scotland. We are looking for someone to join the team as a lead operator.
The role will include drilling, primary & secondary cultivation, spraying, general tractor work and other general farm duties. Previous experience in these tasks are essential, we require an experienced operator.
The position that we are hiring for will also be responsible for liaising with the operations manager and setting daily tasks for the team.
To be successful in this role it is imperative that you are experienced in the use of large agricultural machinery with confidence in machinery maintenance (including welding and fabrication).
Telehandler certificate, PA1 & 2 and knowledge of precision technology are mandatory to be short listed for this opportunity.
