Job Overview

Storm Lighting are seeking an experienced AV Technician to join our team. We are a technical support provider to the live events industry, supplying lighting, rigging, sound and AV for Corporate events, Theatre, Conference, Film & TV. Storm are also an accredited production supplier to many of London's premier venues.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing equipment to a high standard in our warehouse, then setting up the equipment on site and running it for events. The role is client facing therefore requires strong organisational skills and the ability to communicate effectively.

Experience working within the live corporate events industry is essential, along with a good knowledge of video and sound presentation systems.

Hours will include weekends and unsociable hours when necessary.

Salary will be based on experience.

Duties:

- Prep video and sound equipment to a high standard
- Carry out basic maintenance & servicing of equipment
- Keep maintenance logs and carry out PAT testing
- Understand individual job requirements and prepare equipment accordingly
- Assist project managers with specifying equipment for projects.

- Carry out site visits with project managers when required

- Set up and operate AV presentation equipment for high end corporate events

Required Skills:

- Minimum 5 years experience as an AV technician for corporate events
- Excellent communication & organisational skills

--Physically fit

- Able to work in a team
- Full UK driving license
- Based near Woking, Surrey.

Nice-to-Have Skills:

- CAD skills

- Lighting knowledge

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 26,000.00-30,000.00 per year
