We're looking for a

Lead Barista / Assistant Manager / Cafe Manager

to help us deliver an unforgettable coffee and service experience at Brityard--a unique, evolving space where British craft meets creative culture.

You'll be the lead person behind the main coffee/beverage counter, setting the tone for quality, consistency, and customer care. As Assistant Manager, you'll also support in leading the front-of-house team, maintaining operational standards, and ensuring our unique space runs like a dream.

What You'll Be Doing

Delivering a high-quality hospitality and retail service

that meets the needs of the brand, our partners and our customers.

Leading our coffee / beverage offering

--from dialling in Assembly Coffee espresso, stock management, developing seasonal drinks menus (e.g. matcha) to leading a small flexible team Ensuring every customer interaction reflects

Brityard's high standards

Supporting day-to-day operations across a unique

hospitality, retail and events space

Assisting the General Manager with

rota planning, ordering, and stock control

Helping lead the

front-of-house team

with energy, confidence, and care Maintaining a clean, welcoming, and

Instagram-worthy service area

Jumping in wherever needed--because no task is too small and no shift is ever the same

You're a Great Fit If You:

Have

positive energy

confident with customers

Have

strong barista experience

and a real love for coffee and craft drinks Have

leadership experience

in a hospitality setting (or are ready to step up!) Thrive in a

busy, guest-facing environment

Are confident leading by example--positive, proactive, and detail-focused Communicate clearly and confidently in

spoken and written English

Understand basic

back-of-house systems

(ordering, wastage, stock checks, rotas) Are happy to work

weekends and evenings

Pay: 13.00-15.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 30 per week
