Job Role: Lead BI Analyst
Reports to: Operations & Delivery Director

About the role:
The Lead BI Analyst will lead our efforts in transforming raw data into actionable insights that drive business growth and operational excellence own sales analytics and deliver data-driven insights that empower our revenue generating organisation. This role will be responsible for building and maturing our BI capabilities, with a strong focus on market intelligence, robust performance management metrics, sophisticated reporting and analysis, and the continuous refinement and enablement of our data processes and systems. You will be a key partner to various departments, including Data & Reporting, Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Product, providing the intelligence needed for informed decision-making. Collaborate with the GTS team to ensure data requirements are fully captured.

Key Accountabilities:Lead the collection, analysis, and synthesis of external market data, including competitive analysis, industry trends, customer demographics, and economic indicators.
Develop and deliver comprehensive market intelligence reports and presentations that provide actionable insights to senior leadership for strategic planning, market entry, and product development.
Identify emerging market opportunities and threats, advising on their potential impact on the business.
Develop and implement predictive models for key business areas such as sales forecasting, customer churn prediction, lead scoring, price and resource optimisation.
Collaborate with the Data & Reporting team to integrate AI-driven insights into operational workflows and decision-making tools.
Evaluate and recommend new AI/ML technologies and approaches to enhance our predictive capabilities and drive competitive advantage.
Define, develop, and maintain a comprehensive suite of key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics across critical business functions (Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, etc.).
Oversee the generation of regular and ad-hoc reports for various business units, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and clarity.
Conduct deep-dive analyses to uncover root causes of performance fluctuations, identify correlations, and predict future trends.
Present complex analytical findings in an understandable and actionable manner to non-technical audiences.
Act as a primary liaison between technical data teams and business stakeholders, translating business requirements into technical specifications and vice versa.
Manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritising based on business impact and strategic alignment.
Develop dashboards and reports that track pipeline health, win rates, forecast accuracy, quota attainment, and rep productivity.
Provide actionable insights into sales funnel conversion, territory coverage, and growth opportunities.
Partner with Sales, Marketing and RevOps leadership to improve forecast accuracy and pipeline predictability.
Identify early warning signals for deal slippage, stalled opportunities, or at-risk accounts.
Analyse customer acquisition, expansion, and retention trends to support go-to-market strategy.
Provide data-driven recommendations on territory design, capacity planning, and incentive structures.
Build scalable dashboards (Tableau, Power BI, Looker, etc.) tailored for executives, managers, and frontline reps.
Ensure self-service reporting capabilities and a single source of truth for revenue data.
Work with Sales Leadership on performance coaching insights, rep enablement, and quarterly business reviews.
Partner with Marketing to analyse lead quality, campaign impact, and funnel conversion rates.
Collaborate with Finance to align on revenue reporting, bookings, and growth projections.
Guide junior analysts, promoting best practices in sales analytics and BI.
Drive data literacy within the sales organisation, ensuring stakeholders can effectively use BI tools.
Skills & RequirementsBachelor's degree in Business Analytics, Statistics, Economics, or related field (Master's a plus) or equivalent work based experience
Extensive experience in BI, Sales Analytics, or Revenue Operations, with experience operating in a lead or senior role.
Expertise in BI tools (Tableau, Power BI, Looker, etc.) and strong SQL skills.
Experience working with CRM platforms (Salesforce preferred) and sales performance data.
Strong understanding of B2B SaaS sales cycles, funnel metrics, and forecasting best practices.
Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and storytelling skills with the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
