Job Summary:

AGNES AND ARTHUR CARE HOME, a residential Dementia Care Home provider, is seeking a dedicated Lead Care Assistant to join our team. As a Lead Care assistant you will play a crucial role in overseeing and coordinating the care support to our residents

Responsibilities:

Responsibilities as a Team Leader:

Management Support:

Assist the Manager, Deputy Manager, and Head of care in the efficient running of the home. Work in a direct capacity alongside the Care Management Team.
Resident Care:

Support residents with all aspects of personal care, maintaining and promoting independence. Supervise staff and provide induction support. Encourage staff to take a personal interest in residents and the home to create a happy, caring atmosphere. Communication and Coordination: Ensure all staff complete required duties during their shift or communicate any issues at handover. Deputise for Senior Care in their absence

Essential Attributes:

Two years of experience in the care sector Previous team leading experience is essential
