Our team:




The StoreFront Services team, based in Cambridge UK develops Citrix StoreFront, the sole access layer for our Desktop-as-a-Service solutions. Our systems pull data from several components to provide information consumed by clients for mobile, desktop and the web. While maintaining a focus on scalability, reliability and security, we also work on new features and transformation projects across the full technology stack. Role Responsibilities:




As a Lead Cloud Engineer in the StoreFront team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing highly available and scalable backend services while also leading technical discussions, mentoring other staff, collaborating with principal engineers, architects and product managers to help deliver world-class software solutions to our customers.

Design and implement highly available and scalable backend services. Influence and collaborate with internal and cross product teams to ensure the end to end delivery of solutions. Lead the drive for world-class software solutions for our customers. Participate in and lead technical forums and contribute to cultural and technical enhancements. Participate in and lead reviews of work and designs produced by colleagues. Create documentation of agreed upon designs and implementation details. Participate as an active member of a product development team, taking part in planning and daily standups. Participate in on-call escalations when needed.

Requirements:



You have proven the ability to design, develop, and troubleshoot complex applications using C# .NET or equivalent Able to learn fast, be inquisitive, and lead within an agile environment. You feel comfortable troubleshooting issues using Visual Studio or another debugger. Quality is paramount to you and you've demonstrated value in automated testing, CI/CD and testing methodologies and tools such as BDD, Wiremock. You have extensive experience developing solutions with supportability in mind (telemetry, observability, ...) You are comfortable leading technical discussions, and making decisions relating to design and architecture of systems.

Nice to have:



You have extensive experience with container based software development (eg, Docker, Kubernetes). You have worked in and led efforts within distributed systems and teams. You understand build systems and the complexities of packaging and shipping software. You have a deep understanding of authentication methods such as AAD, LDAP. You have experience working with identity protocols such as OAuth and Open ID Connect and an understanding of authentication methods such as AAD, LDAP. You have experience working with Cloud providers (ideally Azure).

Primarily remote with the option to work in our Cambridge office.
