Rugbytots Midlothian is an established Rugbytots play programme for boys and girls aged 2 to 7 years old. Our focus is fun!

We are now looking for energetic, rugby or sports enthusiasts to join our coaching team, initially part time. We have classes in Bonnyrigg, Dalkeith, & Penicuik and are expanding into new areas.

The successful candidtate will have their own transport, be reliable and able to commit to a Su day morning each weekend. Had an understanding of rugby is helpful but being able to build an amazing rapport with children and the ability to bring a high-energy session each week and more so.

Details of the role...

To welcome and acknowledge all participants upon arrival of each class To maintain attendance register and maintain administration of non-payers etc, informing head office of any anomalies To ensure classes commence and finish on time To lead, motivate and engage with the children in your classes Work though the Rugbytots programme to teach the basic core skills used in rugby in a fun and structured environment using equipment and apparatus provided - The Rugbytots programme must be used Encouraging team spirit and patience amongst the team by doing appropriate games and tasks in groups and individually Maintain authority over the class in a clear and concise manner and promptly addressing any disruptive behaviour Handing out rebooking letters, advising on term dates, change of venue details or handing out newsletters etc when required Referring any parent enquiries to head office Leave hall clear and tidy after classes To complete your own timesheets and ensure they are sent to our accounts department on time to ensure prompt payment of hours worked If available, be able to cover other or additional Rugbytots classes in emergencies To attend all training and refresher courses as required by Rugbytots To act in a professional way as a representative of Rugbytots whilst conducting your classes

KEY ATTRIBUTES

- All Rugbytots lead coaches need to be able to engage with 2-7 year old children in a fun, dramatic and entertaining way. The main objectives here at Rugbytots are for the children to have fun and grow in confidence during their time with us. We provide a programme that will take the children on an imaginative rugby journey and dynamic coaches are essential to deliver in the Rugbytots way.

Drivers Licence Must have own car PVG Desirable (but will get one on appointment)
Job Type: Part-time

Pay: 19.00 per hour
