A digital performance marketing agency is seeking a German Lead Writer to oversee content strategy and delivery for international clients. The role combines team leadership, editorial oversight, and SEO-driven content creation, with the flexibility to be based in Leeds or London.
Responsibilities
- Manage and mentor junior content team members.
- Oversee content creation, editing, and brand consistency for the German market.
- Conduct audits, keyword research, and competitor analysis.
- Develop content plans, trackers, and timelines.
- Collaborate across PR, SEO, PPC, and Creative teams on integrated campaigns.
- Support client pitches, upsells, and communication.
- Monitor budgets, time allocation, and project delivery.
- Agency experience with expertise in German and English.
- Strong track record in content creation, editing, and SEO.
- Experience mentoring or managing teams.
- Knowledge of localisation, translation, and transcreation.
- Skilled in research, organization, and feedback.
- Creative, detail-oriented, and able to perform under pressure.
- Comfortable using AI tools to improve workflows.
