We Are Looking For A Dependable, Friendly & Capable Lead Cook To Join Our Small Team At Our Award-Winning Busy Seaside Cafe In A Unique Coastal Location.

This Is A Hands-On Role For Someone Who Takes Pride In Their Cooking, Enjoys A Fast-Paced Kitchen Environment & Likes Being Part Of A Well-Run Team Where Everyone Works Together. We Serve Fresh, Straightforward Cafe Food Including Breakfasts, Beach Snacks, Pizzas & Burgers, With Quality, Consistency & Care At The Heart Of What We Do.

During Quieter Periods You May Be Working Independently In The Kitchen, With Additional Support Scheduled During Busier Times.

This Role Suits Someone With Good Energy, A Positive Attitude & The Ability To Keep Up In A Fast-Moving Cafe Environment.

The Role

Lead The Kitchen Day To Day With A Calm, Professional & Reliable Approach Prepare & Cook Consistent, Well-Presented Cafe Food Maintain High Standards Of Cleanliness, Organisation & Food Safety Carry Out General Kitchen Duties Including Plating, Washing Up & End-Of-Shift Clean-Down Work Closely With The Front Of House Team To Ensure Smooth Daily Service
As Part Of A Small, Supportive Team, There May Occasionally Be A Need To Assist With Simple Service Tasks Such As Taking Food To Tables Or Helping Keep Service Flowing During Busy Moments.

Hours

Hours Are Seasonal & Vary Throughout The Year. During Busier Periods This Is A Full-Time Role For The Right Candidate With Reduced But Regular Hours In Quieter Months. Weekend, Bank Holiday & School Holiday Availability Is Required. Flexibility Is Essential During Peak Season, With Rotas Planned Fairly & Discussed In Advance.

What We're Looking For

A Dependable, Calm & Friendly Lead Cook Level 2 Food Hygiene Certificate Desirable Preferably Experience Working In A Commercial Kitchen Comfortable Working At Pace In A Busy, Physical Environment A Practical, Hands-On Approach With Good Energy & Stamina Someone Who Takes Pride In Their Work & Respects The Team Around Them Confident Working Independently When Required
On-The-Job Training Is Provided & Support Is Always Available.

Pay

Starting From 13.25 Per Hour
