Correla are looking for a Lead Data Architect to join our Managed Service Architecture team.

Salary: circa 85,000 (advertised salary achievable for a candidate fulfilling all role criteria)

About the Role:

The Lead Data Architect is responsible for defining and governing the strategic direction of data architecture across Correla's managed services, with a particular focus on SAP-based data ecosystems within the UK Link platform.





1. SAP Data Architecture Strategy


Maintain enterprise-level data architecture standards for UK Link Own the design of data models and structures across SAP ISU and BW and all other non SAP applications
2. Data Governance & Compliance


Enforce master data management (MDM), data quality, classification, and retention policies across SAP systems Establish and maintain data lineage and metadata strategies


3. Integration & Interoperability


Design scalable and secure data interfaces between SAP and non-SAP Support the architecture of data replication, transformation, and reporting layers, especially involving SAP BW and analytics platforms


4. Solution Review & Assurance


Participate in change reviews to ensure SAP data components are impacted Review SAP-related changes or enhancements from a data perspective


5. Collaboration & Leadership


Work closely with Functional SAP Architects, Data Engineers, and Solution Architects across UK Link delivery Act as mentor to other architects

About You

SAP Platforms


Experience with SAP IS-U and SAP BW Exposure to S/4HANA (desirable) Familiarity with SAP Data Services for data integration and transformation


Data Modelling


Proficient in SAP Data Dictionary concepts Skilled in creating and managing CDS Views
Integration


Experience designing and managing API-based SAP integrations
Governance


Strong understanding of data ownership and stewardship practices Familiar with data lineage tracking, classification models, and lifecycle management policies
