Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Lead Dental Nurse to join our growing dental practice in Cullompton.

Golds Place Dental Practice is part of the Unity Dental Group. We have six practices in Devon. We are not a corporate. We acquired Golds Place last year, and have been busy making additional surgery space. We are now looking for someone who can help build the practice, and guide the team whilst the practice grows.

You will have strong team player skills, and the ability to think on your feet and use your initiative. You will have a clear understanding of compliance, and genuinely want to progress in the dental industry. You will be the main point of contact in the practice, and confident with taking the lead and making changes where necessary. You will be supported by central management, with the other lead nurses in the group accessible for support and guidance.

Responsibilities

Assist the dentist during examinations and treatments, ensuring a smooth workflow. Prepare treatment rooms by sterilising instruments and ensuring all necessary materials are available. Provide excellent patient care by reassuring patients, explaining procedures, and addressing any concerns. Maintain accurate patient records and manage appointment scheduling using dental software. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the practice. Stock Control Rota Management Admin tasks that will involve compliance, and assisting with the smooth running of the practice. Other tasks as required.

Experience

Previous experience as a Lead Dental Nurse is preferred but not essential. Implant experience preferred, but not essential. Training can be given. Radiography qualification preferred, but not essential. Strong patient care skills with the ability to communicate effectively in English. Proficient IT skills for managing patient information and scheduling systems. Excellent communication and organisational skills to ensure efficient practice operations. Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 15.75-17.84 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
