Responsibilities

Assist the dentist during examinations and treatments, ensuring all necessary instruments and materials are prepared and available. Provide excellent patient care by reassuring patients, explaining procedures, and addressing any concerns they may have. Maintain accurate patient records, including medical histories and treatment plans, using IT systems effectively. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including sterilisation of instruments and maintaining a clean working environment. Manage appointment scheduling and follow-up communications with patients to ensure continuity of care. Collaborate with the dental team to improve practice efficiency and patient satisfaction. Train new employees

Skills

Strong patient care skills with a focus on empathy and understanding. Proficient in English, both spoken and written, to communicate effectively with patients and colleagues. Background in nursing is advantageous, providing a solid foundation for understanding patient needs. IT skills to manage patient records and utilise dental software efficiently. Excellent communication skills to foster positive relationships with patients and team members. Strong organisational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively while maintaining attention to detail.
