The Role

We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Lead Dental Nurse to support and inspire our nursing team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone ready to step into a leadership position within a forward-thinking practice.

As our Lead Nurse, you will:

Lead and mentor a team of Dental Nurses, maintaining high standards across all surgeries Oversee compliance and cross-infection control (HTM 01-05, CQC, audits, sterilisation logs) Assist with chairside support for a wide range of dental treatments Coordinate stock control and ordering to ensure efficiency and cost-effectiveness Support trainee and apprentice nurses through induction, training, and development Work closely with the Business Manager and clinicians to ensure smooth daily operations Champion patient care, ensuring every patient feels comfortable and supported
About You

GDC Registered Dental Nurse (essential) Minimum 3 years' post-qualification experience in a busy practice Strong knowledge of compliance, cross-infection control, and CQC standards Organised, proactive, and confident in leading a team Patient-focused with an excellent chairside manner IT proficient (dental software and Microsoft Office)
