About Our Practice



Brand new, fully computerised, state-of-the-art surgeries equipped with

intraoral scanners

and

CBCT technology

. Providing both

NHS and Private dental services

to our patients. Focused on digital workflows and delivering an outstanding patient experience. Supportive and friendly team working in a modern, purpose-built environment. Our Dental Nurses play a vital role in supporting clinicians and ensuring the highest standards of care.

Key Responsibilities



Maintain high standards of

patient care

and professionalism. Provide

chairside assistance

during dental procedures to Dentists, Hygienists, Therapists, and the Implantologist. Prepare equipment, materials, and lab work efficiently and empathetically. Deliver exceptional customer service, ensuring patients feel valued and comfortable. Ensure all clinicians adhere to practice

policies, protocols, and compliance processes

. Support infection prevention and control procedures in line with current legislation. Contribute to a positive team culture -- celebrating successes and sharing ideas for improvement.

Lead Dental Nurse Responsibilities

(Applicable to candidates taking on or progressing into the Lead role)

Act as the

Infection Control Lead

, overseeing decontamination, sterilisation, and disinfection procedures. Conduct regular

infection control audits

and implement improvements as needed. Manage

stock ordering

and supplier communication, maintaining adequate levels and cost control. Oversee

staff rotas

to ensure appropriate cover and smooth daily operations. Support the

Practice Manager

in compliance, daily operations, and team coordination. Lead, mentor, and motivate the dental nursing team, promoting excellence and professionalism. Assist in

staff recruitment, induction, training, and professional development

. Conduct internal

practice audits

and support the introduction of new clinical processes.

Desired Requirements



Valid GDC registration

(required). Up-to-date

CPD record

and

vaccinations

(mandatory). Previous experience as a

Lead or Senior Dental Nurse

is desirable but not essential. Experience using

Dentally software

(advantageous). Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong leadership, organisational, and problem-solving abilities. A positive, proactive attitude with a genuine commitment to patient care and team success.

About the Role & Benefits



Salary:

Negotiable depending on experience (starting from 13.50 per hour).

Hours:

Full-time or part-time (no weekends or late evenings).

Annual Leave:

29 days (including Bank Holidays).

In-person role, Tavistock.
