An exciting opportunity has become available for a full-time Lead Dental Nurse to join our team. You will be based in our Tewkesbury and Ledbury practices, supporting the two sites, with hours scheduled between Monday and Saturday. Flexibility to work evenings and weekends is essential. The successful candidate must be adaptable to a changing shift pattern and have own transport to travel between practices. Previous lead nurse experience is desirable but not essential - full training and support will be provided for the right candidate.

Our lead nurses are responsible for providing leadership to the nursing team, to ensure we are putting patients at the heart of everything that we do.

The Lead nurse will be required to:

Be confident leading a team Be positive, enthusiastic and have great communication skills Hold current GDC registration Ensure CQC requirements are met and complete audits Provide chairside support to dentists Report to the Operations Manager and work within the SpaDental management team
Our ideal candidate will:

Have experience managing a team and completing audits Have a good working knowledge of CQC requirements for Infection Prevention and Control. Communicate effectively with their team and lead them with a positive and proactive approach Have experience of R4 and of using Microsoft products (word / excel and Teams) Effectively manage their own time
All applicants must have:

GDC registration as a health care professional Proof of up-to-date vaccinations including Hepatitis B vaccination A valid DBS check
