Job description:

We are seeking a skilled Lead Dental Nurse to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate should possess excellent organisational skills, effective communication abilities, and a passion for supporting their team and patient care.

Responsibilities:

-Predominantly nursing but also : assisting the practice manager with compliance and other lead nurse roles such as managing the nursing team, stock ordering, taking on responsibility of the decontamination room and staff rotas.

We are happy to train a motivated, experienced nurse into this role if elements of it are new to you.

Requirements:
We are looking for an experienced nurse who is either already working as a lead or is ready to take on the additional responsibilities.

The nursing team work 8.45 to 5.45 Monday to Friday and we are looking for someone to work 4 or 5 days a week, but flexible hours could be considered.

We are a four surgery, fully private practice and we are recruiting due to increasing size of our clinical team. We are currently a team of 18 with 5 part time associate dentists, a clinical dental technician, a visiting implantologist, hygienist and therapist and five qualified dental nurses. We have recently taking on an endodontist (special interest) and have a new dentist starting soon . We are very friendly and the practice is owned by the principal dentist Dr Susan Phillips.

GDC and Indemnity paid for - we also offer an extra weeks holiday to the standard 5.5 weeks (pro rata)
