We're looking for a capable and proactive Lead Dental Nurse to join our friendly Wetherby team -- someone who's not only excellent clinically, but who brings confident, supportive leadership and positivity to the people around them.
If you're a natural leader, GDC-registered, and confident running a safe, smooth, and compliant clinic -- we'd love to hear from you.
What we're looking for:
An experienced, GDC-registered dental nurse
Proven leadership skills - able to support, encourage and lead by example
Confident in audits, infection control, and CQC compliance
Strong organisational skills - especially with stock control and day-to-day coordination
A great communicator, especially when mentoring junior team members and leading team meetings and training
A collaborative approach - you'll work closely with the Practice Manager to keep everything running safely and smoothly
Happy to help on reception when needed - we all support each other within a supportive team
Key responsibilities:
Carrying out the monitoring, audits and checks needed to ensure compliance with legislative requirements, under the direction of the practice manager.
Supporting the practice team to ensure the smooth running of the clinical day.
Overseeing stock ordering and stock rotation.
Liaising with the practice manager about equipment servicing or maintenance issues.
Liaising with/supporting the practice manager with team training and development.
We can offer:
A positive, supportive team environment
A modern, well-equipped practice with a focus on high-quality care
Recognition for the work you do and the ideas you bring
Opportunities to develop your role and your skills over time
Flexibility around hours, where we can
A family-run practice that genuinely values people
Ready for a new chapter?
Send us your CV along with a short covering letter -- either describing a typical day as a Lead Nurse in your current role, or telling us how your experience so far has prepared you to step confidently into this position. We'd love to get to know you.
