Job Summary

We have a fantastic opportunity to join an energetic and multidisciplined team, we are looking for the right experienced individual to fulfil the position of Lead Nurse.

We are seeking an individual who thrives in being a positive mentor to junior members of the nursing team, encouraging team members to achieve their full potential. We are looking for an individual who is confident in their clinical skills, chair side manner and maintains the high standards of clinical care and environment of the practice with ease.

Additional responsibilities would include working with management to support clinical management of the practice with cross infection compliance, stock management and scheduling of clinical staff rotas. Protected administration time will be allocated to manage these responsibilities.

Personal progression is supported and encouraged, with further scope for progression within the team.

Responsibilities

- To perform and maintain high standards of clinical chairside nursing for a multidisciplined team of Clinicians in delivery of family dentistry, cosmetic dentistry, orthodontics, facial aesthetics, oral surgery and endodontics.

- To support junior nursing team and act as nursing mentor and lead

- To facilitate and work closely with Patient Co-ordinators

- Follow, comply and maintain practice policies and procedures

- Maintain immaculate clinical and communal areas of the practice

- To maintain a progressive personal development plan

Applicants must be able to demonstrate registration with the GDC, recent enhanced CRB and have a Hepatitis B inoculation record.

Private dental care experience is desirable but not essential.

Part time- full time hours negotiable.

Full time employed staff will have their GDC registration and indemnity costs paid by the practice.
