Job Description

We are seeking a part time dental nurse to take over a departing colleague who has been at the practice for 4years. The practice is well established with a very long standing client base and in a popular area of Manchester with excellent transport links.There is plenty of car parking space and there are shops and restaurants within walking distance.The practice is a small 2 surgery practice with a private ownership of over 18 years -- not a corporate

The practice is very modern and progressive - all the equipment is less than 5 years old and the practice prides itself in producing excellent treatment with a good reputation serving the local community.

Brooklyn Court offers a mix of NHS and private treatment.The new colleague will be welcomed by a friendly and well established team .

The days are Monday to Thursday but full time also possible

Here is a list of job responsibilities

Assist in providing high-quality patient care by preparing treatment rooms and ensuring necessary instruments are sterilized and ready for use. Support dentists during procedures by handing instruments and managing patient comfort. Maintain accurate patient records and assist with administrative tasks as needed. Communicate effectively with patients to explain procedures and address concerns. Uphold hygiene standards and follow safety protocols to ensure a safe environment. Collaborate with the dental team to enhance workflow and patient satisfaction.
Some suggested qualifications

Some previous dental experience essential

Strong patient care skills Proficient in English with excellent communication abilities Background in nursing or related healthcare field Solid IT skills for managing patient records and scheduling Exceptional organizational skills to maintain a smooth workflow Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
