We are mainly a Private Practice, but also hold small NHS contract, delivering a very high standard of care to our patients.
A wonderful opportunity has become available for a dynamic Lead Dental Receptionist to manage our established, friendly team of Receptionists, as well as ensuring smooth daily operations and exceptional patient experience. The role would suit either an experienced Dental Receptionist, ready to progress to a management position, or a Head Receptionist looking for a fresh, new challenge.
The candidate with the following experience and skills:
Someone with excellent interpersonal skills, who maintains a professional and polite manner in all customer interactions
Lead and supervise the reception team, providing training, support, and performance oversight
Manage and coordinate complex clinician diaries, appointments, and treatment bookings
Oversee the day-to-day running of the reception area to ensure efficiency and professionalism
Handle patient enquiries, complaints, and concerns with empathy and professionalism
Ensure accuracy in patient records, billing, and treatment plans
Liaise closely with dentists, hygienists, nurses, and management to support clinical workflows
Monitor and manage reception rotas, absences, and cover
Maintain and enforce policies related to GDPR, confidentiality, and data handling
Provide reporting and feedback to management on front-desk operations
Ability to operate and use IT and software programmes competently
You will be supported by our well-established Management Team, consisting of our Practice Manager, Head Nurse & Treatment Co-Ordinator. We firmly believe that nurturing our staff, creates a happy working environment and therefore a great patient experience.
