As a key player in our team of Drain Repair Specialists, you'll be at the forefront of delivering top-notch drainage services to domestic properties, ensuring minimal disruption to our valued customers.
Key Responsibilities:
Excavation and Repairs: Undertake excavation and repairs of standard drainage systems on both pre-planned and emergency projects, showcasing your expertise in efficiently resolving drainage issues.
Investigation and Analysis: Utilise your logical approach to investigate drainage systems, assessing and analysing data to determine defects and ownership, ensuring precision in your solutions.
Report Understanding: Read and comprehend surveyor and report writer reports, translating technical information into actionable plans for effective drainage solutions.
CCTV Expertise: Harness the power of CCTV camera equipment to facilitate the installation of CIPP lining and patch liners, demonstrating your proficiency in cutting-edge drainage technologies.
Buried Services Identification: Accurately identify buried services and trace existing drains using CAT and Genny, showcasing your attention to detail in every aspect of the job.
Surface Reinstatement: Reinstating different domestic surface types such as paving slabs, block paving, cold lay tarmac, or concrete at the customer's property while upholding our organisation's high standards and attention to detail.
Customer Liaison: Build strong relationships by liaising with customers to understand and address their work requirements, ensuring satisfaction with our services.
Team Player & Leader: Be a flexible team player with a developed attention to detail, showing initiative, proactive in meeting set deadlines, and exemplifying good leadership qualities with a supportive approach to mentoring less experienced team members.
Knowledge and Skills:
Knowledge of drainage system excavation
Knowledge of drain repair methods
Flexible and adaptable with the ability to coach and mentor drainage engineers
Remain calm under pressure
The ability to work to tight deadlines
The ability to deal with customers in a professional manner
Ability to work on own initiative as well as part of a team
Ability to analyse data and make recommended changes where necessary
