Lead Commercial Electrical Engineer
Location: Mobile (Northern team)
As an Engineering Lead you will have overall responsibility for the works you carry out on site and that of others under your supervision, including works carried out by sub-contractors. Along with technical contracts manager you will manage the day to day requirements of the engineer and be on hand to provide technical support.
Your role includes carrying out general maintenance work allocated to you, as well carrying out site surveys, auditing engineers, quoting projects and other tasks as required.

Responsibilities
Project Management: Lead and oversee projects from inception to completion, ensuring deadlines are met, and budgets are adhered to.
Reactive and Repair Works: Respond promptly to reactive maintenance requests, troubleshoot issues, and perform necessary repairs to ensure minimal downtime for clients.
Certification: Take responsibility for signing off on projects you in charge of, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
Training and Compliance: Assist in the training and development of engineers, ensuring they are up to date with industry regulations, safety practices, and company policies.
Client Meetings and Surveys: Engage with clients to understand their needs, conduct surveys to assess requirements, and provide tailored solutions to meet their expectations.
Health & safety: conduct TBT with engineers, carry out site audits and inspection of tools PPE and site safety
The Lead Commercial Electrical Engineer will also be carrying out:
Small project work
PPM (planned preventative maintenance) work
Reactive and emergency jobs
Electrical Fault Finding
Qualifications / Experience
To be successful in the Commercial Electrical Engineer role you must have:
18th edition electrical qualification
Have experience in the commercial sector
Experienced in leading others
Project management / project delivery
At least 5 year's experience working in a FM company
Full UK Driving Licence
Ideally 2391
