Summary
We are seeking an Electrical Engineer to join our dynamic team at Oakes Power Services Ltd. This role is pivotal in ensuring the successful execution of electrical engineering projects that meet our clients' needs while adhering to industry standards. The position is based in the UK and offers an exciting opportunity to work on innovative projects across multiple sectors.
Responsibilities
Design and develop electrical systems and components for various projects.
Conduct installation and maintenance of electrical systems in compliance with safety standards.
Collaborate with project teams to ensure timely delivery of engineering solutions.
Utilise CAD software to create detailed technical drawings and schematics.
Perform testing and troubleshooting of electrical systems to ensure optimal performance.
Prepare technical documentation and reports for project stakeholders.
Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in electrical engineering.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
Proven experience in electrical engineering roles.
Strong knowledge of CAD software; familiarity with Amtech, Electrical OM, Protection Relay software and MicroStation is a plus.
Experience with logic controllers and surface mount technology is advantageous.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Proven experience in Power Distribution Networks
