This is your chance to step into a pivotal role where your coordination skills and engineering expertise will directly impact our success.

Your Mission:

To be the central hub for all engineering activities. You will ensure our equipment, services and infrastructure run safely and efficiently, driving continuous improvement and leading our maintenance team to new heights. You will be a key leader, deputising for the Head of Engineering and shaping the future of our engineering strategy.

What You'll Do:

Lead & Coordinate:

Act as the central link between maintenance, production, and vendors. Manage our team of Multi-skilled Engineers and contractors.

Drive Excellence:

Execute and coordinate our Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) program, develop action plans, and support our Asset Care strategy.

Solve Problems:

Provide hands-on technical support for fault-finding and complex problem-solving using root cause analysis.

Ensure Safety & Compliance:

Manage Health & Safety surveillance, risk assessments, and ensure we meet all statutory and legal requirements.

Enable Growth:

Facilitate training, develop KPIs, and support project delivery from start to finish.

We're Looking for Someone With:

(Must-Have Qualifications & Skills)

A recognised engineering apprenticeship (multi-skilled). A minimum of

NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds, or ONC/HNC

in an engineering discipline. Strong mechanical and electrical engineering skills.

I.E.E. Regulations 18th Edition

certification. Excellent communication skills and a proactive, problem-solving mindset. Proven experience in a coordinated or supervisory role within an FMCG or manufacturing environment.

(Highly Desirable)

Food Safety Level 3

and a safety qualification like

IOSH Managing Safely

. Experience with

SCADA systems

.
