Job Description

The Lead EPMA and IT Development Pharmacy Technician/Senior EPMA and IT Development Pharmacist will be responsible for supporting the lead EPMA pharmacist and the EPMA team in the implementation, maintenance and optimisation of the electronic prescribing systems in use at the Trust, i.e. Oracle Health Millenium and ChemoCare as well as any related software such as example PharmOutcomes.



The postholder will be the technical lead for the EPMA team and Pharmacy in all matters concerning IT (integration, testing and infrastructure), Reporting (Crystal Reports and SQL) and new Digital functionality (e.g. closed loop administration of medicines).



They will also be responsible for supporting all healthcare professionals in order to enhance clinical medication safety practices through the use of digital IT solutions.



As the Lead EPMA Pharmacy Technician/Senior EPMA Pharmacist you will be part of the Trust's digital workforce, actively contributing towards improving the digital maturity of the Trust.
