HITC Youth Football are looking to add a Lead Football Coach to our staff team. We are seeking an enthusiastic

to join our
Academy
team.
The ideal candidate will provide the below :
We are seeking a driven, technical and enthusiastic individual with a passion for developing young players. The postholder will lead on the individual, group, and team planning of the football pathway within U8 - U16 age groups.
This role consists of 3 hours of mandatory delivery on a Wednesday 4:00PM -7:00PM and Thursday evening 4:00PM -7:00PM , and the option to deliver on Saturday mornings/afternoon.
Responsibilities
:
Energetic, reliable, and enthusiastic approach to working with young players of all abilities.
Conduct regular training sessions, ensuring they are engaging, educational, and tailored to the needs of the academy players.
Organise and lead competitive matches, ensuring adherence to rules and sportsmanship.
Foster teamwork, discipline, and respect among players, encouraging a positive team culture.
To plan, create, and evaluate coaching sessions as scheduled in the weekly plan.
To plan and deliver training sessions that prioritise an individual player development focus within HITC core sessions.
Provide impactful feedback to players to support progression.
Communicate effectively with players, parents, and other coaching staff regarding player performance and development.
Deliver consistent up to date communication with the Community manager surrounding the journey of the sessions and have tracking/plans up to date for session reviews.
Align coaches and the coaching programme to the club's coaching and playing philosophy.
Identify areas for development and work closely with the Community Manager to ensure necessary performance standards are met and developed.
Monitor and drive the key development processes within the Academy to ensure progression is being made.
Essential/ Requirements
First aid qualified
FA Level 2/UEFA C Licence
Up-to-date Enhanced DBS Certificate (or willing to obtain)
First Aid and Safeguarding Children certifications are preferred (or willingness to complete them promptly).
Proven experience coaching children and young players in football, particularly within grassroots, youth settings.
