About the role



We are currently looking to recruit a Lead Hub Operator to effectively managing strategic security partnerships with law enforcement, local authorities, and industry bodies to improve crime prevention and detection across our retail estate. Through proactive intelligence sharing and collaborative investigations, we ensure our CCTV operations contribute to safer stores and stronger communities. Working closely with the UK Security team, we drive innovation in remote surveillance, support safeguarding initiatives, and deliver actionable insights that protect colleagues, customers, and assets.


You will be responsible for



Be the expert around security and shrinkage procedures and key legalisation to keep our stores and business safe e.g. post incident reviews, usage of safety, shrinkage and security equipment, protecting my personal safety, GDPR, staff searches, key control and seasonal lockdown Accountable for the Hub having a 24-hour team coverage across 7 days a week, being flexible with working patterns so CCTV is always effectively supervised and all channels are supported Partnering, people management and team leadership, leading the team in the Daventry Support Hub to effectively manage CCTV monitoring for stores Collaborate with the central Shrinkage & Security, SOS, Security field team across all channels to drive down preventable incidents and reduce loss Develop valued relationships with Government agencies, law enforcement and other companies to improve security and build intelligence against criminal activity to enable risks to be highlighted and control activities enabled Have an understanding of shrinkage and security risks for the UK retail business and working with the wider security team to come up with solutions to reduce crime level in our stores, knowing when to lead and when to be led Proactive usage of centrally provided data, sharing foresight with my team to diagnose and mitigate risk getting to the truth of issues to support the delivery of convergence and balanced plans Review the output of post incident reviews my team complete, being accountable for the quality of investigations ensuring the next steps encourage the 'STAR' behaviours and reduce loss Raise non-completion of next steps to the relevant partner where vital Ensure there are effective processes and response times in place for any police requests for CCTV Ensuring my team are adaptable to live security concerns or urgent investigations working with the wider security team and following the triage and prioritisation process for workload Hard-working and proactive, continuously reviewing capability of your team encouraging them to take ownership of their development always offering support and mentorship to deliver an outstanding contribution

You will need



Experience of shrinkage and security in a retail environment CCTV and associated systems expertise People management experience Law enforcement or policing background Crime intelligence and investigations experience Security management Partner management & influencing skills Business & customer awareness Office skills - Excel, Word, Powerpoint, etc. Data analysis experience
