What is the role?





As

Lead Legal Counsel

, you will lead all legal and contractual matters across the business, acting as a strategic advisor to the executive team and Board. You will oversee the negotiation, drafting, and management of client and supplier contracts, advise on risk matters.



This is a hands-on role for a commercially minded legal professional who thrives in a fast-paced technology environment. You will partner closely with Sales, Product, Finance, and Delivery teams to manage legal risk while enabling growth and innovation.

Key Responsibilities



Commercial Contracts & Client Negotiation





Lead the end-to-end legal review and negotiation of client contracts, including software licensing, SaaS, services, NDAs, and data processing agreements. Ensure contracts align with commercial strategy, mitigate risk, and comply with internal policies and legal requirements and related processes.



Corporate Governance & Group Reporting





Be in charge of all legal aspects relating to Wealth Dynamix' Governance and corporate matters including information governance and data retention and company secretarial assistance Collaborate with parent company legal teams at CA Indosuez and Credit Agricole CIB and Credit Agricole SA as needed. Uphold security best practices to protect systems, data, and people.



Vendor & Partnership Agreements





Draft and negotiate supplier and partnership agreements and commercial outsourcing agreements, including telecoms, technology, media and service providers. Intellectual property and coordinating provision of external legal advice for the same.



Dispute Management & Risk Mitigation





Manage disputes, litigation risks, and pre-litigation matters. Liaise with external legal counsel where specialist or jurisdictional expertise is required. Provide internal training on legal risk awareness, contract management. Be in charge of Wealth Dynamix' legal watch

Who is best suited to this role?



Essential:





Qualified solicitor with 8+ years of post-qualification experience (PQE) in commercial, technology, or corporate law. Experience in a senior in-house legal role in a SaaS or B2B technology business. Strong track record negotiating software and services contracts, including with financial institutions. Deep understanding of IP, data protection, and regulatory matters affecting software vendors. Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence at executive and board level.



Desirable:





Experience in fintech, wealth management, or financial services. Familiarity with contracts involving multinational clients, especially in Europe and Asia. Exposure to M&A, corporate structuring, or group governance in a regulated setting. Fluency in a second language (e.g., French or German) is a plus but not required.

High-quality contract management and risk mitigation across all client and supplier engagements. Clear internal legal processes established for contract lifecycle and regulatory compliance. Trusted legal advisor to executive team and key stakeholders. Strong relationships with internal teams and group legal counterparts at Indosuez. Reduced external legal spend through efficient internal delivery and strategic use of counsel.
