Job Description

This is a new role and an exciting opportunity at Kingsleigh Primary school to join and lead our Lunchtime Supervisor team from September 2025.



This role will be to organise our Lunchtime Supervisors and to work closely with our meal provider, CleverChefs. The successful post holder will ensure all the children have a successful happy lunchtime in the school hall when eating their lunch and to ensure that the lunchtime team are supporting each other efficiently together to achieve this. We are looking for someone who is dedicated, compassionate, confident and passionate and who has experience of previously managing a small team.



The hours of work are Monday to Friday from 11.30am until 1.30pm (10 hours per week). Working weeks are during term time and you will also be paid for an additional 6 hours each year to allow you to undertake training which may be on inset days and at different times from your normal contracted working hours.

We are looking for someone who:


Has previous experience of managing a small team. Is able to build positive professional relationships with our team and with members of the CleverChef team. Is adaptable and flexible, and willing to do all they can to ensure pupils have a successful lunch period. Is willing to undertake professional development to ensure they meet all health and safety requirements and have a strong understanding of safeguarding children. Will be proud to be a part of our school and will uphold our ethos and values. * Puts children at the centre of their work.
