Are you ready to lead the design of bold, future-proof Water Engineering across the UK's commercial, residential, and infrastructure sectors? Ayesa is looking for a Lead Mechanical Engineer to join our dynamic team in the UK, preferably in our London office. You'll drive high-impact projects from concept through to construction and help grow our Water engineering capability in the region.

Position
? What You'll Be Doing
As a Lead Mechanical Engineer, you'll lead and deliver Wastewater and Water design packages across diverse sectors including commercial, residential, education, healthcare, and public infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities

• Management of relationships with key clients and contacts across the business including client liaison and development
• Management of projects within time, cost and quality constraints and standards
• Management of the day-to-day work of the team.
• Champions and promotes professional advice, guidance and support across the business
• Monitors and manages compliance and KPI's
• Estimating, pricing and delivering against work targets.
• Management of engineering outsource partners

Requirements
? What You Bring

• Member of a relevant professional body e.g. IMechE, CIWEM
• Demonstrate level of competence in mechanical and instrumentation design in the water / wastewater industry environment
• Demonstrate a level of competence in practical mechanical installation experience in the water / wastewater industry environment.
• Minimum of 10 years' experience working in a similar role in the water and wastewater industry.
• A good understanding of modular build construction processes and procedures.
• Experienced in the installation, commissioning and proving of mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, control and automation (MEICA) systems.
• Experience of Water, Wastewater and Sludge Treatment Centres.
• Demonstrate knowledge of all relevant standards, regulations and codes of practice
• Extensive site experience of water and recycling operations
• Ability to use own initiative, problem solve and adjust as issues arise during the project life cycle
• An experienced manager of people and teams, developing others, and managing staff welfare
• Experience, or a strong understanding of construction, procurement, and commissioning.
