We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our dynamic team as the Lead Nurse at Medneo London Centre.
This pivotal role supports the delivery and development of our Health Screening service, ensuring excellence in patient care, regulatory compliance, and clinical governance.
The successful candidate will lead the Health Care Assistant (HCA) team and play an integral part in the day-to-day operations and emergency readiness of the service.

What you'll be doing...

Lead and manage the HCA team to deliver exceptional patient care and operational efficiency. Lead and manage the administration team to deliver exceptional patient care, fast turnarounds and meet key performance indicators. Perform phlebotomy, ECGs, body composition analysis, mole screening, and other screening tasks Support with cannulating when required Liaise with Doctors Laboratories, ECG-on-Demand and other 3rd party companies to book appointments and retrieve results back and chasing up any reports before the follow up consultation with the GP occurs. Write and update patient reports and notes related to Health Screening Oversee the clinical delivery of health screening services and drive continuous improvement. Participate in regular clinical governance committees and any other committees or meetings that require clinical knowledge Attend quarterly health screening review meeting and prepare monthly reports on the health screening Support patients in the event of a medical emergency, including escalation protocols. Administer or support with cannulation procedures where clinically indicated. Respond to and care for patients who may become unwell on site. Ensure the safe management, storage, and administration of medication within the centre. Maintain full compliance with Care Quality Commission (CQC) and internal quality standards. Support ongoing training and development initiatives for HCAs. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver a seamless patient experience. Support new initiatives that enhance the scope and quality of the Health Screening service.
Who you are...

Essential Criteria:



Registered Nurse (NMC registered) with a minimum of 3 years post-qualification experience. Proven leadership or supervisory experience in a clinical setting. Phlebotomy and ECG competency. Excellent communication, leadership, and decision-making skills. Experience with managing clinical emergencies and medication protocols. Working knowledge of CQC compliance and clinical governance.

Desirable Criteria:



Experience in private healthcare or health screening settings. Cannulation skills. Previous experience with body composition or dermatological screening. Experience in mentoring and staff development.
