Packaging Design Lead - 12 month MAT Cover
Our client is a well-known consumer beauty brand operating in a fast-paced, trend-led environment. Their London studio works closely with product, brand, and commercial teams to bring innovative products to life.
We're looking for a Lead Packaging Designer to join on a 12-month maternity cover contract. This is a senior, hands-on role leading packaging design across multiple brands and working closely with the Product team to bring high-volume NPD to life.
You'll shape packaging from concept to final artwork, ensure brand consistency, and lead a small packaging design team in a fast-moving, ever-changing environment.
Key Responsibilities

Lead packaging design concepts across multiple products
Partner closely with the Product team on NPD
Own packaging guidelines and brand consistency
Manage full packaging timelines from concept to print
Lead and develop a small packaging design team
Create mock-ups/renders and liaise with suppliers and printers
Bring strong knowledge of print finishes, components, and sustainability

Experience Needed

Senior/Lead Packaging Designer experience (beauty or FMCG preferred)
Strong packaging print and production knowledge
Confident team leader, comfortable working at speed
Highly proficient in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop & InDesign
Organised, adaptable, and commercially minded

Details

12-month FTC (mat cover)
London-based, 3-4 days in office each week
