GSK Barnard Castle is a key secondary manufacturing site and has invested heavily in industry 4.0 state of the art, bespoke equipment to support sustained new product introductions and volume increases, and as a key supplier of some of GSK\xe2\x80\x99s blockbuster products, the site contributes revenues of ~$2Bn annually.

As a Lead Process Engineer, you will be responsible for the line management and coaching of a team of Process Engineers. You will provide site functional leadership in process engineering, as well as engineering resources for the process team to deliver the site capital plan and other high priority projects, while setting the process engineering strategy.

• Provide the site with the engineering resources for the process team to deliver the site capital plan and other high priority projects.
• Provide guidance and management to the process safety program.
• Line management of the process engineering team.
• Provide technical leadership for other process engineers.
• Ensure process support is available for production whenever required and assist with live line issues.
• Setting the process engineering strategy.

• Wide range of specialist process engineering knowledge.
• Significant experience of applying this knowledge across multiple pharmaceutical dose forms and processes.

• Used as a regular contact for centres of excellence for Process Engineering and recognised as a site subject matter expert.
