ABOUT THE TEAM:





Tide Payroll is on a mission to end the fear and effort of running payroll for micro and small businesses. Instead of having to take time to figure out the complicated intricacies of how to calculate pay, taxes, insurance, and so forth, we're building a top-notch payroll product that automates and simplifies these things so that SMEs can focus on what really matters for their businesses (e.g. finding customers, delivering great products & services, doing what they love).


ABOUT THE ROLE





We're looking for an exceptional Product Manager to join our product team that is building a world class payroll experience that will truly benefit micro, small & medium businesses around the world.



As Lead Product Manager you will:


Make high-quality decisions and contribute to the product strategy for Tide's Payroll offering, translating strategy into impact-driven roadmaps Own and drive commercial outcomes for Tide Payroll; setting goals, delivering KPIs, and maintaining partner / vendor relationships. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, data science, customer support, marketing and country teams, to drive successful product launches and ongoing improvements Organise work and ship products with high velocity that deliver value to our Members Define goals and measure performance to evaluate and understand product value Build alignment on priorities, plans and progress in your team, across other product teams, with stakeholders and the Leadership team Inspire and influence others and yourself to think differently, solve problems, seize opportunities and be passionate about working towards the mission

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR





The ideal candidate will have:


Has at least 8+ years of experience in product management. Proven product leader with payroll / fintech / accounting & tax / financial services domain expertise and a track record of building and scaling products At least some domain knowledge of payroll or related bookkeeping / accounting / tax product solutions. We value aptitude over experience, but we're looking for some existing real world PM experience. Experience indirectly leading and seamlessly collaborating in cross-functional teams to drive successful product launches, continuous improvements, and growth. Highly organised and consistent in quality execution Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, especially in relation to decision-making, plans, progress, achievements and challenges.
