What you will do:
Drive a culture of building AMAZEING customer/end user centric journeys and features, fueled by great data analysis
You promote the use of segmentation analysis and behavioral driven development within the team and share/mentor your experiences and best learnings with Product Owners and Associates
Understands and is able to communicate the strategy and commercial goals of the bank, and can clearly demonstrate how your roadmap(s) delivers value within these parameters to SLT and Management
Alongside your role with the feature team, you will also be working on strategic projects helping shape the future platforms and journeys used by FANS and end users
Leader supporting Product Owner(s) through mentoring, Line Management or dotted lines
Owns the prioritisation, and sequencing of the backlog, working with cross-functional feature teams
+ Creates the strategic Vision for the product and communicates this to your feature team
+ Leads the POs under your remit to create their vision and roadmaps - building consistency in our MVPs
+ Owns a culture of reducing technical debt, and ensures your POs do the same You promote a culture of continuous improvements and drive a rapid pace of delivery through Test and Learn
Drives the consistency, format and cadence for stakeholder management and communication
+ Ensures this is consistent with the POs under their remit Understands other feature teams/value stream priorities when prioritising roadmap items (looking at the bigger picture)
Build a roadmap for the short, medium and longer term (6-12 month, 1-2 years and 3+ years)
+ Holds frequent ideation sessions for their feature teams, and their Pos
+ Uses KPIs as a measure of success and progress
+ Promotes a demo culture and creates proof of concepts to be showcased early in the process Works with internal and external stakeholders - building a lasting network that works as one team to deliver value
Are the subject matter expert of your product - with a clear understanding of managing and demonstrating risk controls
Ensures operational blueprints, workflows and documentation is updated and available on Confluence
Will ensure POs under their remit have comprehensive documentation
Champions and promotes agile methodologies and continuous improvements
Presents regular competitor research and has a deep awareness of market trends in the industry.
Works closely with the UXUI teams and CX and brings these functions into the ideation process.

What you will need:
Proven experience in building iterative roadmaps centered around the customer and a track record of delivering value into the hands of our FANS and users in an Agile Framework
Has launched new products and has extensive experience in continuous improvements
Significant understanding of their competitors and broader market/economic themes, knows how they can deliver a roadmap with both market parity and innovation
Proven experience in data analysis and customer segmentation
Able to set KPIs against tasks and goals - completing benefit realisation and communicating success to SLT and ExCo
Is able to take on a Leadership role in training up, mentoring and managing Product Owners, ensuring they are following best practices, completing data analysis and understanding their customers/end users
Ability to build and manage multiple feature teams
Can derive a clear strategic and commercial direction with KPIs outlined
Can handle multiple dependencies and risks
Excellent communication and negotiation skills to manage senior stakeholder expectations about delivery and timelines
Has exceptional attention to detail and will ensure the roadmap is updated correctly and presentations will be of the highest standard
Will encourage all teams to build flexible and evolving processes which help increase the delivery of value
Creates a demo-led process for stakeholders to look at work ongoing
Can create and communicate the framework they use to balance competing pressure and prioritise items - experience with creating 'Golden Threads' or showing how all changes align to the strategic goals of the business
Excellent skills with competitor research and has a deep awareness of market trends in the industry - you are constantly looking for opportunities to provide GAME CHANGING ideas into the hands of FANS
Knows how to align and build a great working relationship with UXUI and CX functions from ideation
Promotes a culture of risk awareness and adheres to risk management.
Knowledge of how to breakdown a large scale/new project into a series of deliverables (MVP) which deliver value and can be measured by appropriate data capture and monitoring
You build a culture of great documentation and change controls - you will have clear evidence of change controls for internal/external audits, and will ensure your POs also have this documentation (including NPDs)
