An established market leader in event and exhibition space solutions is seeking a
Lead Project Manager
to head up its growing Project Management team. With decades of experience delivering standout environments for live events across the UK and internationally, this organisation specialises in modular structures, exhibition trailers, roadshow vehicles, and custom-built exhibition solutions.
The Lead Project Manager (LPM) will play a central role in overseeing a variety of indoor and outdoor event projects--from concept to completion. This includes managing client expectations, leading a team of Project Managers, and ensuring flawless execution of all project requirements in line with budget, quality, and deadline expectations.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and mentor the Project Management team, ensuring adherence to internal processes and standards
Take full accountability for the delivery of all projects
Manage and review project budgets and P&L performance
Oversee training, development, and performance of team members
Act as the primary escalation point for project-related issues
Collaborate closely with internal departments and client contacts
Conduct site visits and support operational teams when required
Identify and develop account growth opportunities
Report to senior leadership on project performance and team progress
Contribute to continuous improvement of project management practice
About You
Experience in a similar role within the
events or exhibitions
industry is highly desirable
Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills
Comfortable managing multiple projects simultaneously in a hands-on environment
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Familiarity with project design tools such as CAD or SketchUp is a plus
Experience with on-site event delivery is advantageous
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
Proactive and process-driven, with excellent problem-solving skills
Marketing and social media experience is a bonus
A valid driving licence is essential
NEBOSH or IOSH qualifications are desirable
Commitment to quality standards such as ISO 9001:2015 is preferred
