Overview:

The Lead QA Engineer will lead the development and execution of software testing processes, ensuring the quality of software products. You will collaborate with the development team and business to identify and resolve issues, ensuring the software meets specified requirements and standards. The role involves managing both manual and automated testing, controlling test environments, and driving improvements in QA efficiency.


Responsibilities:
Own the end-to-end life cycle of testing and assurance Develop and execute test plans and cases based on software requirements and technical specifications Control test environment to reflect the production environment Engage in sprint cycles and ceremonies Leverage manual testing experience to identify scenarios, create models, and execute exploratory testing Manage and control automated test scripts, assisting engineers in adopting good testing principles Accountable for UAT activities Record test results and compare them to expected results Identify, track, and manage bugs throughout testing Collaborate with stakeholders including product managers, project managers, engineers, architects, and the business to ensure project/product understanding and well-defined testing and assurance strategy Drive improvements in QA efficiency and maturity through processes and ways of working

Qualifications:

Essential

Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field QA experience in manual and automation testing QA management experience Knowledge of software development methodologies and processes Experience in Selenium or other automated testing frameworks Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Experience with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) tools Communicate effectively and share thoughts and ideas through methods appropriate to the audience. Adapt and respond effectively when embracing new opportunities, change and in navigating uncertainty. Actively contribute as part of a team and work towards achieving team goals and outcomes. Take responsibility and demonstrate accountability in completing tasks and achieving objectives, actively seeking to resolve problems and identify opportunities. Desirable

Knowledge of .Net, JavaScript, Python, SQL Experience with performance and load testing tools Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., Azure) Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) Certifications in QA or software testing (e.g., ISTQB)
