All about the Role




Clare Lodge is a secure, welfare only, all-female children's home based in Glinton, Peterborough. The young people at Clare Lodge are given individualised support based on their complex needs.




You will work as part of a diverse team and will be accountable for

managing a

team

of

residential

staff to deliver the highest standard of

professional

practice. To encourage young people to participate and attend all the provisions that are provided by Clare Lodge including, education, health appointments and activities.

All about You







The skills and experience you need:


A minimum 3 years experience in working in a residential child care setting. A Diploma 5 in children and young people or the willingness to complete within 2 years. Empathy and a passion for helping young people - responding effectively to a range of emotions. Ability to build positive relationships. Prior knowledge of child protection issues and procedures and an understanding of the development needs of children and young people are desirable but not essential. Good Interpersonal and communication skills, report writing and incident recording skills. Willing to work every other weekend and bank holidays. The role requires you to be able to take part in physical activities. To be over the age of 21 to apply for this role.
