Join us as a Lead Retail Auditor - Shrinkage, Loss Prevention (including food safety) and Food Hygiene. You will have the responsibility to facilitate in the audit process aligned with the clients\' expectations, calibration of auditing teams and reporting against the Food Hygiene, Shrinkage and Loss Definition.

ABOUT YOU

Required skills:

• Food safety Level 3/4
• HACCP
• Experience of auditing in a fast-paced retail store environment
• Experience focused on cash loss, theft prevention, waste, high value stock controls, security, colleague searches and cash room controls
• Food safety compliance on temperature control product dates hygiene practices
• Auditing to high standards, with attention to details
• H&S Level 3/4 advantageous
• Analytical detail focused
• Fast learner, ability to adapt to your environment at pace
• Ability to work with multiple retail team colleagues
• Communicate clearly, and easily the requirements of the retail standards you will be auditing against

ABOUT THE ROLE

As a Lead Auditor you will facilitate in the audit process and ensure the auditors are trained to the correct standards and technically competent to complete audits.

Key responsibilities:

• Client focus - maintain and lead a client focused auditing team, within your dedicated accounts to the standards expected of the client
• Ensuring all team members auditing are calibrated and consistently achieving the requirements of the account
• Appeals/ Complaints - complete comprehensive investigations with all stakeholders internally and externally to ensure client satisfaction and resolution on appeals or complaints within your dedicated accounts
• Complete a programme of witness audits, and shadow programs to agreed KPI, with appropriate record keeping and follow up where required
• Ensure all training is updated, refreshed, and collated when required for the auditing team, within your dedicated accounts, for account specific requirements and auditor soft skills training
• Working with internal teams, Key Account Managers, and Schedulers to ensure that we achieve the KPI measures set by the client
• Supporting the retail team leader and business senior leadership where required
• Participate in the training sessions with the client
• Leading internal training sessions within the businesses ensuring all team members auditing are consistently achieving the client requirements
• Handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately
• Keep up to date with legal and technical developments in general areas of food safety, hygiene and quality and H&S, shrinkage that are within the scope of the position

Permanent. Full Time. Field Based - extensive travel within the UK.
