Your role at Veezu:

The lead software engineer will take ownership of our core technology stack. The ideal candidate is a Laravel PHP expert with strong experience in Vue.js and React, who can lead development efforts, mentor junior engineers, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver robust, scalable, and high-quality solutions.


This role will lead the engineering team developing our in-house driver partner portal.

What you'll do:

Lead and manage the development team, ensuring adherence to best practices and coding standards. Collaborate with product managers, designers, and stakeholders to define technical requirements and shape product roadmaps. Drive architectural decisions and ensure scalability, performance, and security of applications. Run team standups and progress meetings Providing technical documentation to the business outlining processes, tools, and GDPR compliance requirements to ensure transparency, security, and adherence to regulatory standards. Design, develop, and maintain applications using

Laravel (PHP)

as the primary backend framework. Build modern, responsive, and dynamic user interfaces with

Vue.js

and

React

. Implement RESTful APIs and integrate with third-party services where required. Optimize application performance and troubleshoot issues across the stack. Mentor and coach junior engineers, conducting code reviews and providing constructive feedback. Foster a culture of continuous learning, collaboration, and innovation within the team. Oversee project timelines, ensuring deliverables meet quality standards and deadlines. Be committed to maintaining our ISO27001 certification and set high standards for Information Security compliance.

What you'll need:

Proven experience as a

Lead Engineer

or

Senior Full-Stack Engineer

. Advanced proficiency with

Laravel PHP framework

. Strong hands-on knowledge of

Vue.js

and

React

. Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP). Experience with relational databases (MySQL/PostgreSQL) and ORM frameworks. Proficient in version control (Git), CI/CD pipelines, and testing frameworks. Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities. Strong understanding of agile methodologies and software development lifecycles. Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on technical execution.

Additional nice to haves:

Familiarity with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes). Exposure to microservices architecture. Knowledge of DevOps practices. Experience with NodeJs Experience with React Native

Where you'll be:

The role is flexible on location with a requirement to attend meetings at Veezu office locations across the country as needed.
