This specialist digital-asset house has spent the past decade building the rails that link professional investors to crypto markets. Three core businesses power the firm:

• Actively managed hedge-fund strategies - run by veteran traders who deploy dynamic, market-beating tactics for institutional clients.
• Multi-asset indices - transparent benchmarks that bridge traditional and digital assets, covering equities, crypto and even gold.
• Capital-markets & treasury desk - a front-office team that designs low-latency trading tech, manages group liquidity and provides execution services to every business line.

With revenues climbing and they have an unmissable opportunity for a hands-on Lead Engineer to own green-field builds on the trading floor.

What you will do

• Architect and deliver low-latency market-data and execution services from scratch.
• Stay deeply technical while mentoring a small squad of engineers.
• Embed with traders to iterate quickly on new features and strategies.
• Drive best practice in test automation, observability and secure coding.

What you will need

• Proven front-office or buy-side background in FX, equities, commodities or crypto.
• Expert-level Python and/or Go; comfortable switching from C++ or Java
• Track record shipping exchange-connectivity or execution-flow systems.
• "Get-it-done" mindset - able to cut through blockers and hit aggressive deadlines.
• Leadership experience: coaching devs, owning architecture and the full SDLC.
• Happy to work in London 5 days a week.
