Join us to lead, shape, and elevate the craft of engineering at Judge.me.


As a Lead Software Engineer, you'll join the Five Factors Squad and work closely with our Head of Engineering to drive product innovation and execution. You'll work across the full stack and development lifecycle to solve real-world problems for 550k+ merchants globally--building high-impact features that help them earn trust, increase conversions, and grow sustainably.

This is a role for builders who lead by example, move fast with intent, and constantly raise the bar for what's possible

. You won't just maintain what exists--you'll design and deliver what's next.

What You'll Do

Lead Core Product Initiatives

Drive the design and delivery of new Use Case Solutions within Judge.me's core platform, combining hands-on development with technical leadership.

Mentor & Accelerate

Guide engineers through mentorship and pair programming, and help the team ship faster by unblocking complexity and clarifying direction.

Champion AI & Automation

Lead the integration of AI/ML tools into development processes and product capabilities, driving innovation across the board.

Promote Engineering Excellence

Uphold a strong culture of code quality, testing, and peer reviews. Lead by example in pushing for clean, performant, and scalable code.

Deliver at Pace

Be hands-on, pragmatic, and business-aware--driving rapid delivery of high-impact features without sacrificing quality.

Collaborate Cross-functionally

Work with Product and Design to shape high-impact features aligned with customer and business needs.

What You'll Bring

You're a high-impact engineer who thrives at the intersection of technical depth, execution speed, and product impact. You care deeply about quality, but don't get stuck in perfectionism. You lead with craft, clarity, and conviction--bringing others along by showing what's possible.

You have:

Deep hands-on experience with Ruby on Rails, modern JavaScript, cloud infrastructure (AWS), and SQL databases at scale A strong track record of delivering high-quality, reliable code at speed The ability to quickly diagnose and resolve complex issues, especially in high-stakes or time-sensitive scenarios A commitment to system resilience, including testing, monitoring, and long-term maintainability A collaborative approach to driving clean architecture and performance improvements Leadership skills to mentor and manage a small team (3-4 engineers) while fostering a culture of accountability and quality A product-aware mindset that balances technical depth with business and user outcomes Initiative in leveraging AI and automation tools to expand team capabilities and streamline workflows
