We are looking for a Lead Software Engineer to join and lead our brand new software engineering team. Due to our recent success securing multiple contracts within our Aerospace & Simulation business unit, we are now looking for talented individuals to join us on this exciting journey.

As the Lead Software Engineer, you will have access to a range of growth opportunities, including training and development programs, mentoring and coaching, and exposure to cutting-edge technologies and techniques. You\'ll also have the opportunity to work with some of the brightest minds in the industry, in a dynamic and collaborative work environment.

This is an opportunity to enter a dynamic and challenging world of developing simulators for military use, to play a significant role at the forefront of technology, in a challenging environment where a variety of training and simulation systems are developed.

What will you be doing:

As a Lead Software Engineer you will be:

Recruiting a team of developers and establishing team practice and conventions.

Leading on all technical aspects of the software product life cycle: Requirements analyses, Design, Implementation, Testing, Integration, and delivery.

Managing team budget and schedule.

Actively Involved in systems level decisions outside of the software domain (such as hardware architecture, network, etc\').

Reviewing and producing technical documentation.

Skills for success:

Experience in leading a development team.

Proficient in OOP using C++, design patterns and solid design principles.

Knowledge of networks (UDP, TCP, Multicast/Broadcast etc.)

Bachelor\'s degree in Engineering, Computer Science or another relevant technical subject.
