Acting as a Lead Tester, you'll be comfortable leading a small team of testers. This is a hands on & team lead role, so you'll want to continue learning the latest automated testing frameworks, such as Playwright as well.

Role title: Lead Tester. Test Lead. Senior Tester looking for a step up, who has managed small teams.

Location: Banbury, Oxfordshire. Hybrid working: 3 / 2 days home / office, flexible, per week. Good commute from Warwick, Oxford, Coventry, Milton Keynes, Rugby, Reading, Leamington Spa, etc.

Salary: 55K - 60K Basic + Benefits package

In the main, we would look for you to be experienced in & demonstrate, the following:

Experience in software testing, with a strong focus on functional, regression, and automated testing. Solid understanding of software development processes and methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum) and the role of testing within these frameworks.

Prior, or current Team Lead experience: small teams (3+)

Proven ability to write and execute comprehensive test plans and cases, ensuring high-quality delivery. Experience with SQL for data validation and API testing tools such as Postman. ISTQB or an equivalent certification is preferred if you have it but not essential. Experience in Selenium Automated Testing & experience in Playwright Automated Testing is a bonus.
