Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Solar Installer to join our growing team. As a Solar Installer, you will play a crucial role in the installation and maintenance of solar energy systems. This position requires a strong commitment to safety, quality workmanship, and a passion for renewable energy solutions. You will work both independently and as part of a team to ensure that solar panels are installed efficiently and effectively. It is essential that the candidate has site manager experience as well as having successfully run commercial jobs.

Duties

Install solar panels on rooftops and ground-mounted systems according to specifications and safety standards. Completion of all necessary documents before the job starts, e.g. Risk assessment, method statement etc Conduct site assessments to determine optimal installation locations and configurations. Use hand tools and power tools to assemble and secure solar panel systems. Perform welding tasks as required for structural support of installations. Dig trenches for electrical wiring and conduit installation as needed. Ensure all installations comply with local regulations and industry standards. Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during the installation process. Maintain a clean and organised work environment, ensuring all tools and materials are stored properly.

Skills

Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to understand complex systems. Basic electrical skills, including understanding wiring diagrams and electrical components. Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail in all tasks performed. Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and clients.

Pay: 200.00-300.00 per day
