Join the Close Brothers Invoice Finance Team where you will be responsible for shaping and executing the Invoice Finance Application and Data Strategy. Working as part of the Invoice Finance team our ideal team member will have previous experience in leading the simplification and rationalisation of the lending platform estate with excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Define and embed the Invoice Finance technology strategy aligned to the 5-year business strategy.
Shape a multi-year roadmap of architectural change across applications and data.
Architect the decomposition of iDeal into a scalable, cloud-ready solution.
Evaluate and drive consolidation of other invoice systems onto the strategic platform.
Establish a cohesive data and AI strategy in partnership with senior leadership.
Work within agile delivery frameworks to ensure architecture supports iterative development and rapid value delivery.
Partner closely with engineering leads to ensure architectural decisions are pragmatic, implementable, and scalable.
Ensure architectural compliance with enterprise standards and regulatory requirements.
WE WOULD LOVE TO HEAR FROM YOU IF YOU HAVE/ARE:
Proven experience as a Lead Architect in financial services, ideally within lending.
Deep expertise in application and data architecture, including cloud-native design, microservices, and data platforms.
Strong background in application or data engineering, with hands-on experience in designing and delivering enterprise-grade solutions.
Expertise in designing and engineering data solutions across cloud platforms like Databricks and Snowflake.
Strong understanding of legacy system decomposition and platform consolidation.
Proficient in data integration patterns and their key considerations.
Experience driving enterprise data strategies and implementing trusted reporting solutions.
