The Data Solutions group is responsible for the growth and support of FactSet's DataFeed (off-platform) products. Our aim is to consult and organize our client's data consumption processes with FactSet's proprietary and industry-standard delivery solutions. You will gain exposure to the entire Real Time Data Solutions product suite and learn to design custom solutions tailored to each client using a combination of products.

team is a strategic, client-facing role focused on ensuring our institutional clients maximize the performance, stability, and business value of FactSet's real-time market data solutions. This role blends deep technical knowledge of real-time data architecture with strong client relationship skills to deliver tailored, scalable, and resilient solutions across complex financial workflows. This is a strategic, high-impact role responsible for supporting some of FactSet's most sophisticated institutional clients.


As a Lead Solution Specialist, you are a trusted technical and strategic partner across onboarding, integration, service optimization, and long-term relationship management for clients leveraging FactSet's real-time data and infrastructure offerings. Lead Solution Specialists are trusted advisors responsible for driving the long-term success of enterprise clients by ensuring optimal use, stability, and evolution of the products and services they rely on . This role combines technical depth, relationship management, and business acumen. While not always hands-on coding, Lead Solution Specialists must understand the underlying infrastructure, integrations, and client workflows well enough to guide architecture, troubleshoot issues, and influence strategic decisions.



What You'll Do

Strategic Client Engagement

:


Serve as the primary technical and strategic contact for key Real-Time clients, driving deployment support, and long-term technical alignment. Develop a deep understanding of each client's environment, including their use of FactSet's real-time platforms, data integration strategies, and operational goals. Guide clients through migrations, cloud adoption, entitlement compliance, and architectural changes.

Optimization & Support Escalation

:


Proactively identify areas for enhancement and coordinate with internal teams to implement solutions. Serve as the escalation point for critical client issues, providing technical leadership through incident response and resolution. Monitor service metrics and usage patterns to proactively address risk, improve resiliency, and drive client satisfaction.

Internal Advocacy & Product Feedback

: Partner cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, Implementation, Support and Solution Specialists to deliver customized solutions, resolve issues, and influence roadmap enhancements. Act as a voice of the client internally while contributing to the ongoing evolution of FactSet's real-time offering and engagement model. Provide feedback on product enhancements, documentation, and feature gaps specific to real-time market data delivery.

Strong understanding of real-time data feeds, low-latency architecture, entitlement systems, and cloud-based delivery models.

Technical Depth

Experience with Refinitiv, Bloomberg feeds, and familiarity with multicast, entitlement APIs, and real-time distribution platforms.

:

Skilled in navigating internal and external stakeholders to resolve challenges, drive solutions, and influence product direction.

Strategic Ownership

:

Comfortable leading large-scale initiatives such as platform migrations, feed consolidations, or multi-site deployments.

Qualifications



7+ years in a technical client-facing role within financial services, data technology, or capital markets--e.g., Technical Account Manager, Solutions Architect, Technical Consultant. Strong understanding of real-time data delivery, client connectivity, entitlement frameworks, and data workflows across trading and analytics platforms. Experience supporting enterprise clients in cloud or hybrid environments (AWS), with knowledge of APIs, feed handlers, and low-latency infrastructure. Familiarity with market data technologies ( e.g. Refinitiv, Bloomberg, proprietary systems). Exceptional client management, communication, and problem-solving skills; confident engaging with both technical and business stakeholders. Scripting or diagnostics skills (Python, SQL, etc.) are a plus. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science , Finance, Engineering, or a related field .
