Story Sport is changing the way young children learn sport and will be a nationally operating company by the end of 2026!

Story Sport uses imaginative stories to develop sports skills in 18 month to 7 year old children and is looking for enthusiastic, reliable?Lead Coaches?to deliver our fun, engaging sports sessions for children aged?18 months to 7 years.

When/Where

This is a?part-time weekend and sometimes weekday role?based in?Chorley, Lancashire ideal for sports coaches, early years students, performers, teachers or anyone who loves working with young children.

Days:?Saturday mornings and some mid-week availability for in-school/nursery delivery Hours:?Approx. 8:30am-12pm weekends, varied during the week based around your availability Pay:?16.00-18.00 per hour Job Type:?Part-time Location:?In person

Role Responsibilities

Lead structured, age-appropriate sports sessions using the Story Sport programme Engage young children through sports coaching, movement, imagination and play Create a safe, inclusive and positive learning environment Communicate confidently with children, parents and staff Uphold Story Sport's high standards of coaching and safeguarding

Ideal Candidate

2 years previous experience of coaching or working with young children Energetic, confident and enthusiastic personality Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Reliable, punctual and professional Willing to be active and hands-on Passionate about making a positive difference to the lives of young children Ideally suited for someone with a level 2 or above sports coaching qualification but full in-depth/supported training provided
