- 1:30-2:30 PE shadowing (2 afternoons p/w only)

Primary Sports Academy
are looking to recruit an
energetic and enthusiastic individual
to lead
breakfast and after-school sports clubs. The candidate will also run lunchtime sports clubs and shadow our head of PE for two afternoons per week. During the
school
holidays, the candidate will lead our holiday camp days
in one of our Macclesfield partner primary schools.
This role involves creating a safe, fun, and engaging environment for children before, during and after the school day. Following and promoting our company values and supported by an assistant coach, you will plan and deliver a number of sports sessions throughout each term time day, as well as during the school holidays.
We are seeking candidates who are passionate about working with children and can bring energy, enthusiasm and professionalism.
This will be a self-employed position that is contracted to Primary Sports Academy on a permanent basis with a full contract.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver a variety of engaging, fun sports clubs suitable for primary-aged children.
Work alongside an assistant coach to create a safe, inclusive, and fun environment.
Encourage teamwork, and a positive attitude within all children
Liaise with school staff and parents in a professional manner
Uphold the company values at all times

Able to adapt sporting activities to suit different age groups and abilities.

Qualifications and Experience:
Essential:
Minimum 2 years of experience working with children in a professional setting.
NGB Sport or childcare qualification
Full driving licence and own car.
Paediatric First Aid.
Safeguarding training.
Enhanced DBS check.
To be able to follow and implement policies and procedures
Be reliable and able to work both mornings and afternoons during term time, as well as full days during the school holidays
Be organised and able to articulate well in communication with parents, staff and children
To help to develop and maintain good relationships and communications with parents/carers/school/staff to facilitate day-to-day positive relationships
Desirable:
Experience working in a primary school setting.
